Hey! My name is Sara and the following is a little bit about myself; I was born in Bogota, Colombia and grew up in Houston, Texas.​ I went to the University of Texas at Austin, where I got my B.S. in Advertising, with a focus on Art Direction. After working in Advertising for a few years, I decided to take a different career path and am now actively pursuing a Master's in Art Therapy. I like to think of myself as a multidisciplinary artist with my mediums ranging from ceramics to fiber art to metalsmithing.

In my spare time, I volunteer with ArtReach and at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft.
